Into your hands …..
The word “occupation” is well devised, for work does indeed occupy most of mankind’s waking attention. Having a personal preference for spiritual progress, yet, not having joined a monastic order and subscribing to its discipline, as a layperson, I am called to engage in an occupation which promotes life and is life enhancing, rather, than life diminishing.
For the past twenty years I have been engaged in just that manner and I am blessed and grateful, at this station of life, to provide a service and to participate in making a contribution to the wellbeing of others.
My motivation has been, is and will remain … twofold. First, it provides me the opportunity to continue self nurturing by engaging in the work of stewardship allowing the manifestation of my talents, gifts and skills. Second, it is to make my services available to all including those of lesser financial means.
With that written I place the compensation for my services into the hands of my clients through donations and or based upon value received.
